Nannup is a quiet and attractive timber town to the south of Perth. Visitors entering Nannup from the south pass through a beautiful area of rolling hills and tall stands of karri trees. As fires have erased much of the town's history Nannup concentrates its appeal on walks and drives which take visitors through the surrounding forests. Maps and details of the drives are available at the Nannup Tourist Information Centre. Tasmanian Tiger fossils have been found in the area and local legend insists one still exists in the area. Visitors to Nannup can enjoy some lovely rural accommodation.
