Ferny Creek is a scenic township on Mount Dandenong Tourist Road in the Dandenong Ranges, 37 km north-east of the Melbourne CBD. An excellent walking track departs from the junction of Sherbrooke Rd and Mt Dandenong Tourist Rd, near Ferny Creek township, following Sherbrooke Creek to Sherbrooke Falls. Along Sherbrooke Road are Ferny Creek Reserve, the Alfred Nicholas Memorial Garden, Burnham Beeches, Sherbrooke Picnic Ground, O'Donohue Picnic Ground and the George Tindale Memorial Gardens. Secluded self-contained accommodation is available at Ferny Creek.
