Kallista is a township in the Dandenong Ranges. It lies on the south-eastern edge of Dandenong Ranges National Park which has many sites of interest. Poet C.J. Dennis camped at Kallista in an old tram where he worked on 'The Songs of a Sentimental Bloke'. Distinguished artist Tom Roberts has also resided at Kallista. Attractions around Kallista include The George Tindale Memorial Gardens, The Wombat Gallery and the excellent views of Johns Hill Reserve.
