Berry is an attractive little town which has become a fashionable spot for a day or weekend trip from Sydney. Berry has something of an English feel owing to its oaks, elms and beech trees. Surrounded by pleasant rolling hills Berry features a number of significant historical buildings. The monthly market is a major drawcard. Nearby is Coolangatta Historic Village which retains many original buildings from Alexander Berry's 'Coolangatta' estate which was established in the mid-1820s.
