Adaminaby is a small quiet town in the Snowy Mountains which was moved to the present site in the 1950s when the original site was covered by Lake Eucumbene. Most of the buildings from Old Adaminaby were transferred. The most interesting are St John's Anglican Church, Adaminaby (1906) and the Uniting Church (1886). Many are now drawn to Lake Eucumbene for the trout fishing. Four buildings from Old Adaminaby remain on the attractive lake shores. Visitors will find excellent alpine cottages at Adaminaby.
