Warwick is a thriving and attractive Darling Downs town which can claim to be the first important settlement in inland Queensland. Known as the 'Rose and Rodeo City', due to the famous Warwick Rodeo, Warwick has a number of distinguished historic buildings such as the Warwick Post Office (1891), the Warwick Town Hall (1888), with its large and elegant clock tower, St Mary's Church (1864), St Mark's Church (1868) and Pringle Cottage (1869) which is now part of the Warwick Historical Museum.
