Ascot is located 7 km north of the centre of Brisbane. It is a pleasant suburb of Brisbane located between the suburbs of Hendra, Clayfield and Lutwyche. Ascot is a typical residential area which is conveniently close to Brisbane's domestic and international airports. Near Ascot is the attractive Kalinga Park which has numerous stands of timber, interesting rock formations and is dissected by Kedron Brook.
