Auckland is New Zealand's largest city. The name Auckland is a Maori word used to describe the entire region. Auckland's reputation as one of the world's most beautiful cities is based on its proximity to both Waitemata and Manakau harbours. It is a great cosmopolitan seaside city. Auckland now has the greatest concentration of Polynesians in the world.
