Boat Harbour is a quiet seafront village with a boat ramp and beach located 8 km south-west of Nelson Bay on the southern peninsula of Port Stephens. The access road runs off Gan Gan Road 5.5 km from its intersection with Nelson Bay Road. To the immediate north of Boat Harbour is One Mile Beach which is a very pleasant and secluded bay. Boat Harbour is located at the western end of Tomaree National Park which offers plenty of recreational possibilities. Visitors to Boat Harbour will find fine bed-and-breakfast accommodation.
