Description of Hyams Beach
|
|
Hyams Beach is a quiet village on Jervis Bay which claims to have the whitest sand in the world. There is a concrete boat ramp off Cyrus St into the Bay. Hyams Beach is also a recommended diving spot, at least at high tide. From the Hyams Beach boat ramp swim out due east for 100 metres. There are a number of shallow reefs in 8-10 metres of water. HMAS Creswell and the many attractions of Booderee National Park are located to the south of Hyams Beach.
