North Avoca Beach is a popular holiday resort and surfing destination on the Central Coast. It is located immediately south of Terrigal and due east of Gosford. North Avoca Beach itself, which has a surf lifesaving club, is lengthy and enclosed at either end by rocky headlands. Just behind North Avoca Beach is Avoca Lake where visitors can hire pedal cats in season. An art gallery lies just to the west of North Avoca Beach. There are many tour and cruise operators in the area and North Avoca Beach also offers some excellent bed-and-breakfast accommodation.
