Kurrajong Heights offers the most spectacular view across the Sydney basin. Located 80 km west of Sydney, Kurrajong Heights is positioned on the escarpment which rises from the floodplains of the Hawkesbury and Nepean Rivers. The first European to reach Kurrajong Heights was the 19-year-old Archibald Bell who climbed the heights in 1823.
