The Jenolan Caves, because they are located 140 kilometres from Sydney, are Australia's most accessible and popular limestone caves. They are deep in a valley on the far side of the Great Dividing Range. There are 22 major caves in the Jenolan Caves system. Of these there are nine which are open for guided inspection. There are also excellent bushwalks as the Jenolan Caves exist within a 2430-hectare flora and fauna sanctuary. 30 km south of Jenolan Caves is Kanangra Boyd National Park. Visitors to Jenolan Caves can enjoy resort and cabin accommodation.
